The shoulders of the hills rise up to meet sky with pine while pear prickle silently guard around where sagebrush grows and tracks reside. The imaginary haystack doesn't get painted, the antelope, whitetail, and mule deer hide beyond yonder trees, and prairie dogs bark down within hole. But it is green and cool spring day to get some exercise on dirt trail leading down to the mail box through the south pasture.

Hello... I'm a geologist by birth, I've struggled to learn how to read and write. Overcoming this difficulty, I've learned to paint and write ideas through reflection, inspiration, and work while in the wilds of Montana, USA. I use watercolors mainly for the freedom of expression and versatility they afford. I've been painting for a few years and studied them in Minnesota when I finished my BA in Geology. I like watercolors because they're light and easy and fast like a lightfoot fishing the streams of time for sport just to spend some life with the art rather than trying to catch the tourney prize.
